After getting a good sleep schedule down, thanks to my E-Z Nite sleep spray I found on Amazon. I decided to start exercising again, but wanted to make sure I would keep to it. I didn’t want to burn out or be too sore to exercise the next day- routine is key.
For me, I need to do the same workout everyday. I’ve tried doing WODs (workout of the day) in the past, but found too many times the workout wouldn’t fit my day or me personally. I used to run cross country when I was younger, and now running hurts my knees, I don’t want to worry about whether or not I have the right equipment, and I want to be able to start and run through a workout without thinking about what’s next- I needed to keep the flow going and it’s easy to tell if I am progressing or not.
So after looking around online, I found a workout challenge that was used for the movie 300. The Spartan 300 workout was a whole body workout, so I decided to do it everyday, but obviously, I was in no shape to complete it, so I cut down the reps and weight and only rest when I can’t complete the reps and move onto the next exercise without taking a break.
Pull Ups 25
Deadlift 50 using 135 pounds
Push Ups 50
Box Jumps 50 using 24″ box
Floor Wipers 50 holding 135 pounds at arm’s length
Kettlebell or Dumbbell Clean and Press 25 reps per arm using 36 pounds

After getting this workout routine down and making it all the way through with the recommended weight, I choose to do this workout every Friday since the weights were putting a strain on my joints.
